Roadmap to 10k on Instagram with Rieley Chambers

EPISODE 3 SHOW NOTES

I had a special guest on my newest podcast episode today, Rieley Chambers! Rieley is actually my cousin, and we both have our own agencies in the marketing space.

Rieley Chambers is the founder and CEO of Social Haus, a boutique marketing agency in Nashville, TN, that supports businesses in the health, wellness, and lifestyle niche. Rieley earned her Master’s degree in Media and Communications, and has previously worked in social media and public relations. Rieley and her team are passionate about expanding their clients’ personalities and creating a message that will actually engage their audience, and create awareness for their brands.

In today’s episode, we’re chatting about:

  • What you should be doing if you have 0-1000 followers on Instagram as a small business owner

  • Why consistency is so key when it comes to social media

  • What you should be doing if you have 5000-10,000 followers on Instagram as a small business owner

  • What to evaluate in your business if none of your of your followers are translating to customers/sales

  • Why ‘going viral’ should not be your biggest goal on social media

  • The importance of tracking your stats and analytics with your social media, website, etc.

While there are best practices for the roadmap to 10k on Instagram, it definitely won’t look the same for every single company and brand.

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to social media; you truly have to figure out what works well for you and your brand. With social media, it’s so important to be yourself-people want to get to know YOU after all. You don’t have to worry about being perfect and polished with every single thing from the beginning.

Over time, you’ll learn what works well for you and your business, and what your community actually wants from you. As long as you’re providing valuable content and genuinely engaging with your audience, it will all go a long way!
